ABOUT US

It started out as a passion in the quest for knowledge, for information about what makes things tick. As an individual who has spent most of his life attempting to understand the internal workings of computers through applied computer science, the belief about sharing knowledge, ideas, concepts and theories grew.

As does a tree grow, so do people's ideas and concepts.

In time, these ideas may be cultivated into meaningful and useful tools. These tools, applied through a shared medium that which we call the "Internet", allow further ideas, concepts and theories to grow elsewhere. In some sense, Sun Microsystems is right in that the computer *is* the network, by sharing, collaborating and exchanging this valuable information.

Then the motto came to mind:

Through this mindset, the idea of two people's knowledge -- combined -- makes a powerful and extremely valuable commodity in today's fast-paced IT world. Thus the sharing of ideas between two individuals *exchanges* information between each other, growing the ideas into an even larger, more powerful tool.

Whether the tool is a strategic document (such as many of the research papers provided on this web site), or an applicational utility allows our society to better themselves. As time progresses more information becomes available, thus reinforcing the motto.
